Ever since corona virus hit our town, the powers that be have given us orders on how to behave. In reality, we already were aware of what was going on when we cancelled a big event, the pubquiz, that was sold out on March 13. We cancelled it on Wednesday before the government had taken any decisions. We thought it was not safe at that time, boy, were we right.

Anyway, a lot of changes in rules and preconditions were made, changed, updated ever since that day. We try to adhere to all of them and on top of that we have our own rules, as always, that any colleague that has coughs or something like that cannot appear at work. Since we do not have a huge battery of good cooks, this can mean that we close if we cannot guarantee 100% safety. As a small company it’s impossible in these times to continuously have replacements.

For now we’re happy to announce that we kept Boi Boi Dapperstraat open in east of Amsterdam ever since corona came. To make you and us comfortable, we have built within two days a service that lets you select, order and pay your food at home, or from your mobile phone. You indicate the time for pick up and you can get the food from the collection table at Boi Boi. No contact or further transaction needed. No need to wait in line with other people. Pretty safe.
